I am a motivated, bilingual professional with college degrees and over seven years of teaching experience in public school setting, with Home-bound teaching, Residential reliefs Counseling and Special education training. I have experience in using a variety of teaching strategies to successfully prepared students to pass Standardized testing. I enjoy supporting groups of challenged and English-As-A- Second Language (ESL) students with an in-depth knowledge of standard of Learning guidelines; assisting students in developing career goal, and implementing strategies for successful achievement and community involvement. .
I provided supervision and direct care services to individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental illness and physical disabilities in a 24 hour residential group home or supported living environment. Provides training in activities of daily living which includes hygiene, toileting, socialization, leisure, community integration and behavioral management. I assisted with medication administration, Medicaid Waiver documentation, service and behavior plan implementation, household maintenance and cleaning.
